Today was very busy. In the early morning it was 41 degrees and by noon it was 69. Had an early breakfast and on the road by 7:30am to poke around. Headed out for Watson Lake, but made a wrong turn and ended up in a very nice development of model homes at Blooming Hills Estates. Had a really good talk with the developer and got lots of insight into foundations and building requirements. Homes prices $429K (1945 sq ft) -$459K. (2788 sq ft.). The developer mentioned that all utilities run about $300-$375 per month depending on the time of year. The scenery in this area was beautiful.
Went into town and walked around a big arts and craft festival (going back tomorrow to the Wine Festival portion of this event). Had a quick lunch before meeting with our realtor at 1:00pm. Spent 3 hours with the realtor and she took us around to look at land and saw another model home where there was an adjacent lot of sale.
